Minhyuk, PL is never easy

Son Heung-min left sincere advice to Tottenham Hotspur junior Yang Min-hyuk.

"Yang Min-hyeok has tremendous potential, but Son Heung-min warned Yang Min-hyuk in an interview with "Man in Blazer" that the transfer would be difficult. Son Heung-min said, "If you want to succeed at Tottenham, you will have to work really hard, and it will be a difficult journey in the future."

Son Heung-min, who wore the Tottenham uniform in August 2015, has been listed as a Tottenham legend by showing consistent performances every season. Son, who is already preparing for his 10th season, has 162 goals and 84 assists in 408 matches.

Yang Min-hyuk is also influenced by Son. Yang Min-hyuk, who was confirmed to go to Tottenham last month, said, "I think it will be important to get used to it, but I think it will be very helpful in the process because we have Son. Son is the captain of South Korea, and I would like to say that he had a big influence on this decision."

Yang, who made his debut as a "high school winger," made his professional debut this season. Yang, who captured Yoon Jeong-hwan's heart during the last winter training session, immediately secured an opportunity to play in the opening game. He did not miss the opportunity that he was given. Yang started making his name known by scoring his debut goal in the K-League against Gwangju FC in the second round.

He is considered one of the leading players in Gangwon's storm. As a left winger, Yang penetrated into the center and displayed robust penetration and connection to his team's offense. He has scored eight goals and five assists, surpassing the double-digit attack point. He is also sweeping the award list. He became the first player in the history of Young Player of the Month to be named as the fourth (April, May, June and July) and the fifth in Round Best Eleven. Gangwon's player of the month took the title in May and June.

His performance has started to draw attention from Premier League teams. Among them, Tottenham actively sent out love calls, and Yang eventually chose to go to Tottenham. Tottenham officially announced on its website last month, "We are pleased to announce that Yang Min-hyuk from K League 1 Gangwon FC will join the club after obtaining work permit and international approval. Yang, who turned 18 in April, has agreed to a contract that is valid until 2030, and will join the team in January 2025."

With five to six months left to join the team, Son Heung-min left a sincere advice for Yang Min-hyuk. First of all, Son Heung-min met Yang Min-hyuk in person in July and said, "I didn't meet Yang Min-hyuk for a long time. I talked briefly. He said he had things to do in his team before coming, and there were things to prepare for England during that time. He said, "I was doing well in my physical condition, training, and playing, so I wanted to see you in January without getting hurt."

He did not forget his stinging advice. In an interview with "Man in Blazer" on Monday, Son said, "It will be really tough here. I think I have to tell him that the Premier League is never easy. We have to prepare ourselves for everything, including language, culture, physical conditions."

"You live away from your family, and you can become the best player only when everything is perfect. I hope he doesn't get scared, but I want to give him a realistic warning. You can feel that he is doing well in the K-League, but here young players are trying to take chances and take their place every day," he added.  동행복권파워볼
